این مدل از فایروال فورتیگیت از نظر عملکرد و پورتها تقریباً با FortiGate FG-700G که قبلاً توضیح داده شد، یکسان است، اما یک تفاوت کلیدی و مهم دارد که آن را برای ذخیرهسازی محلی لاگها مناسب میسازد.
