FortiGate FG-40F-3G4G یک فایروال نسل بعدی (Next-Generation Firewall – NGFW) از سری محصولات FortiGate شرکت فورتی‌نت (Fortinet) است. این مدل به‌طور خاص برای دفاتر کوچک، شعب، محیط‌های کار از راه دور (Remote Office/Branch Office – ROBO) و سازمان‌هایی با نیاز به اتصال موبایل سلولار (Cellular Connectivity) طراحی شده است.
حرف “F” در نام مدل، نشان‌دهنده استفاده از FortiASIC SOC4 (System-on-a-Chip 4) است که شتاب‌دهی سخت‌افزاری بالایی را برای امنیت و شبکه فراهم می‌کند. بخش “3G4G” نشان‌دهنده وجود یک ماژول داخلی 4G/LTE/3G در فورتی‌گیت است که به دستگاه امکان می‌دهد به عنوان اتصال اصلی یا پشتیبان (Failover) از طریق شبکه موبایل استفاده کند.
